Temple of Sekhmet
Within our Pagan community, there are many paths to the same truth, and one of those paths leads to the Temple of Goddess Spirituality, dedicated to Sekhmet (Temple of Sekhmet, in short form).
Most of us at one time or another has found ourselves either at the Temple for major events (Pagan Pride Day 2015) or for the monthly lunar events and workshops. One cannot be helped but to be moved by the energy in the space.
The Temple of Sekhmet is based on a gift economy, where gifts are given without direct or immediate physical reward, and as such relies on donations, volunteers and the lift of the community. Priestess Candace Ross is posting a list of needs at their Facebook page every month. As Pagans, we need to continue to support those that provide support to us.
Please consider a donation of time, money or goods which are in dire need at the Temple. For July, the items most critically needed are:
- Printer paper
- Kitchen trash bags
- Solar lights (both path and string)
Let’s all find a way to do what we can through direct effort, donation and by spreading the word in our own immediate groups and communities.
