UUCLV and PPLVP Teaming up
On Saturday July 16th, from 12 PM to 4 PM, the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Las Vegas was host for Pagan Pride Las Vegas Project for an Ice Cream Social and Psychic Fair in support of Las Vegas Pagan Pride Day 2016, on October 15th. Our coordinator, Robyn, and all of the volunteers setting up, greeting, selling tickets, Â serving lemonade and ice cream and sticking around to clean up made sure that this was a successful event with more than 60 people attending and raising $364.00 through the ice cream and readings, as well as another $60.00 for theÂ
coloring books offered by Annetta. It was a wonderful afternoon indoors enjoying cool ice cream and of course, the delicious toppings, including the crowd favorite Cap’n Crunch All Berries. Â
Kim coordinated and hosted the psychic fair portion, and we were fortunate to include Kim and all of the inspired readers; Tanya, Willow, Ralph Edward, Kathryn and Patricia whose diverse readings included scrying, tarot, runes, pendulum, Tree Oracle, psychometry and many additional methods. The readings were spot on, exciting and pagans of all paths, as well as guests, were genuinely pleased by the event.
This was one of many events leading up and supporting our Pagan Pride Day event 2016 on October 15th. It was great to reunite with friends and relations we have not seen in some time as well as the new bonds of friendship and community that were created at the event and there was a strong feeling of community as many sat around visiting while eating ice cream with their families and children. We are inviting you out for,  and looking forward to, many more events throughout the year and hope to see you there.
